Jacqueline Reid-Walsh is a specialist in historical children’s literature, popular culture and new media. She teaches at Bishop’s University. She has published on topics ranging from girls reading in the 18th century to moveable books to children’s websites. She is co-author of Researching Children’s Popular Culture: The Cultural Spaces of Childhood (Routledge: 2002) and co-editor of Seven Going on Seventeen: Tween Studies in the culture of girlhood (Lang forthcoming) both with Claudia Mitchell.
